It's still a pretty big hand gun. Redhawk, Weaver 4 power scope and Hogue grips.

I tried pach's, and could never really feel comfortable with them. I have a sig .380 that I put a Hogue slipon on and it improved the feel 100%. Never looked into changing out the grips though. I would like an over sized pair for myBlackhawk. Need a bit more in the hand than the original's give me.

I used to have one back in the day and it was accurate with the scope indeed, but just a hunting gun only, impractical and expensive to shoot IMO.

If I had the chance to get another one for $200 like I did that one? oh hell yeah I would.  Afro Afro Afro Afro

I really don't know why I bought this one, like erc says it is impractical if you don't hunt and I don't, but I reload and so I do shoot it a few times a year. That is the second scope as the first Weaver gave up after about 10 years. The first scope was a 2 power and I wish I got another 2 power instead of 4 power, you lose eye relief with more power so really have to work at shooting this thing. I have 2 more 44 Mags, A S&W mod 29 limited run with 3" barrel, not fun to shoot with Mags but great with 44 spec,  and a Ruger Super Black Hawk custom by Gary Reader, real nice action job and is fun to shoot, wild looking also!

Don, are the grips really that dark and reddish? I just ordered a set from Houge and they look nothing like yours (on the Houge site) as far as coloring goes. Yours look good, don't get me wrong, just not near what I was expecting when I ordered from their image.
I you don't mind, could you look at yours and the image on the Houge sight and give me an honest comparison? I know photos can leave a lot to be desired, but...........................................  Embarrassed Embarrassed
