OK, Todays Winchester is nothing but fun!! I bought it new in 1986 for $219.00 out the door so it was fun from the first day. It's a model 94 trapper AE in 45 COLT. I put the large leaver on it and replaced the rear sight with a carbine ladder type. Sunset, it has a case color frame,but like Ruger it isn't true case hardened, just a finish. Kalboy, I have never tryed 45 Schofield in it but I think I will next time I decide to take it to the range, been a few years. Anyway, its a fun gun and thought it would be a good Wednesday Winny!!

Don, are you absolutely positive that you don't want to adopt a 70 year old man? Are ya, are ya? LOL!!!!!! Case hardened metal and beautiful wood always gets to me!

I don't know guys, going to be a full house here. My son, daughter-in-law and 3 grandkids are going to be here next week, think you can deal with a college freshmen, a 15 year old girl, and a 6 year old boy who's mother has never told him no in his life!!! The college boy is fine, sits in front of the computer all day and night, the 15 year old girl is really alot of fun, like to spoil her because it goes up my sons @$$, but the 6 year old, I'm going to have to build a wood shed to take him behind. Maybe you guys should come over and I'll go hang at your house!!!
