Kb, you could be right about increased LOP, it does seem to be longer then my other 92. Ape, I too like the curved rifle butt plate, then newer Winchesters all came with the large shotgun type, the carbine butt plates are S shaped, you can see them on some of my other photos. I have a nice 45-70 browning Mod 1886 with the curved butt plate, it hurts after a while, have the same gun in a carbine with S butt plate and its not bad. My black powder rifles all have curved rifle but stocks, look nice, hurt bad, still shoot it all day.
