Just a good old nightstand / home defence gun, ye old Model 10. This one dates to 1967 and is Wifey's nighstand gun.  This gun is very tight but had a well worn finish when purchased. Massive touching up was done with Brownell's Oxpho Blue and Dicropan T-4. The shiny area around cyl flutes is flash and not wear. Grips are not factory. |

Yes, the finish is rough, but looking at the grips and other areas it does not look well used at all. Any idea of how much service it saw?

Sunset, no, it was under the pillow of my wife's uncle when he died so his daughter didn't want it and knew I was into guns and gave it to me.

FIL had a V-Model, like new, original grips and lanyard ring. Wifey's brother has it now. Wifey had to show him how to open the cylinder! Sigh!

Just keeps it on the nightstand. I do have a couple of holsters tho. One is a full flap WWll military repro type. Has brass hanger hook and belt loop. |
