Seems like bolts are the order of the day. Put one of these on layaway Mon. at the place where I got my C9. $244.99 for a NIB 243. No adjustable trigger ,I think these are "last years model" or something. Anyway I like 243 and already have dies and some ammo/ components from way back. Got a cheap scope coming too. If it's enough ...fine, if not it goes on a rimfire and we'll look some more. Maybe Redfield if this doesn't work out. Anyway......... non fluted barrel on mine as well. 3x10 on the scope. Think I can do this for about $300 or a bit more. http://www.mossberg.com/images/Mossberg_Guns/930/New/27260.jpghttp://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/rifle-scopes-by-federal.aspx?a=533765

I was born with a bullshit radar. Evidently, many in America were not. Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men. The United States Constitution ©1791. All Rights Reserved.

Super spiffy keen KB......Do I sense a trend towards the hunting of wild varmints here ? Better get some practice shooting from the siting position.

BTW got my scope from SG today. 3x10 x 44 by Intensity Optics. Supposedly a Weaver budget brand or something. Heavy sucker,... we'll see how it does.

Almost sounds like you need a turkey vest from cabelas, That way you've got your #@$% pad strapped right where you need it.
