..... but does resemble the 94AE Ranger( budget grade) 30-30. Mossy 464 here  in good ol' 30-30. Rifle differs from Win. in it has a bridge over receiver at rear(just ahead of locking lugs) and a round bolt. Dead stock except for Uncle Mike's sling swivel kit. Stock seems a bit longer than a Winny too, hence no add on pad. Light kicker here too. The Marlin 1894 CSS has a buttpad like this but ... I wanted that one longer.

Not a bad looking gun, I have a mossberg lever gun i've never fired, I'll post pictures some time, it also has a round bolt like a Marlin, rugged looking gun. Good luck with it.

Any one of those guns can reside in my cabinet any time it wants to.

Thanks! I plan to replace the rear sight with a Marbles semi-buckhorn.

I like that look KB.  Reminds me of Don's John Wayne Comm.

Thanks Mxd! This gun is a very far cry from a Winchester Comm. tho'. It does have an everyday old west look tho' and in 30-30 is an economical ,easy to reload for gun. When I  choose guns anymore ( at least the ones I'll be reloading for) I like to have ones that don't throw brass into the next county. This Mossy(like an AE Winchester) lays fired casings right at your feet. Afro Marlins are very well behaved in this respect too.

Did this today! Smiley Had the sight awhile. Finally remembered to do the change out. Looks more like a real lever now.
