Monkey gun, huh? Suppose you only paid peanuts for it too! Makes me sad again that I got rid of my .40 cal gun and ammo.

Yep, That's the one. Last 40 I've seen around here since too. Plenty of 995TS though. They seem to be around $200+ tax, in the KY shops, a little more in Indiana.

That is a great price for the 40! I paid 200 for my 995 carbine with it's original stock here in Florida.

I think the word is getting out on HP. Anyone who got ( or gets) one of these carbines for much less than $250 can consider himself to have not gotten hurt( imo). Ape, I thought of you the whole time puttin' this up. Have fired the gun a couple hundred rds, really just a couple of test drives, and no hiccups yet. Not much at paper but Wyatt Erc and I did shoot a couple groups at 25yds on a handgun range. Not a squirrel rifle but , plenty good for plinkin or HD if needed.

I agree.....Ya can't go wrong with one of these carbines for the price. Great fun, pretty accurate and they'll run all day long!

That thing is the cat's meow lemme tell ya. kb is being humble, and when we were at the range with it, we were both being a bit quick to pull the trigger I think. We were on a timed range by the hour, and I know that gun is way better than I am in the way of accuracy. I believe it very well could be a squirrel gun, at least to 25yds like we were shooting that day. On a hunting trip by yourself with no time limit thoughts? Yes indeed.

Well if it's anything like my 995 then it's easily a squirrel gun. My 10 year old daughter was chopping off the tops of sunflowers from a bench rest at about 25 yards last time we were out.
