The cheap($139.00) nice used 995 I been eyeing has a bit of mag wobble or play when the mag is fully inserted and locked. Looked at this gun again today and noticed this. The NIB 995TS at same LGS doesn't have any play and neither does my 4095. ?? Is this common? I know if it were a problem HP would fix it but..... just wondering.

Dunno 'bout the carbine, but my C9 mags "wobble" a bit when inserted and locked. Not a problem that I've seen.

A mag is looser in my Hi Point 995 stock than it is in the ATI stock. Not loose like a wallowing bearing race, but the mag does show some looseness. It probably is indicative of the old style stock. Sunset

Yes, this is just a bit of looseness here. Very small amount of play. Probably not an issue.

If the loose mag causes feeding problems HP will take care of it pronto. At $139 it sounds like a great project gun to me, as in a Wildman conversion ?

Yep,Woody I'm sure they would. The price is right, I just can't decide if I want it at all. What is a "Wildman conversion"?
