Yeah, that's nice. Now all I gotta do is spend the evening figuring out WHY!! a simple filter will not go away when deleted.
Note to others: This test worked in notifying Ape of new posts because his mail service will not, but it's still working when I/we don't want it to.

Gmail is not the problem, Thunderbird (my desktop client) is. I can remove the gmail account from Thunderbird and you won't get them anymore.
The problem for me with that being, I have to actually log into the gmail account to get my mail instead of Thunderbird getting it for me.
I'm going to delete the account in Thunderbird, and then add it back in (hope I don't loose all my saved stuff). After that, my only suggestion would be to include anything from me as junk, in which case you will no longer get anything from me in your inbox. You'll have to look in the junk mail folder for it.

Well, buddy, if you are still getting them now, I guess we are linked up for the duration. For the life of me I can't figure this out. I poked and prodded this machine most of the night and aside from dumping it and re-installing XP (not an option really), I'm at a loss. |
